WBCPA client, William Vaughn, is a Nashville TN native. His company is Dominion Real Estate, LLC. His niche in real estate is creative marketing and deal structuring to maximize acquisitions and profits. He has completed a mixture of wholesales, Renovations, and rental projects and is expanding his business in Tennessee and Alabama. We had a chat with William about his experience as an investor.
How did you get started in Real Estate Investing/Business?
I got started in real estate through the desire to have more freedom financially and in my time so I could do and accomplish the things that God puts in my heart for my family and others.
What are some of the Challenges you faced?
Some of the greatest challenges I have had to overcome are through inexperience and ignorance on a couple of projects I have done. It may have appeared that it was a loss at the time but I have discovered that there is no loss if you are learning, growing, and improving.
How you got your first deal done?
I got my very first deal (which was a wholesale) by reaching out to vacant house owners through text blast and followed up on the leads until I was able to get something closed with them. It wasn’t a huge deal but it showed me that it worked and gave me the confidence to keep going.
How much did you make on your best deal?
Profit on my best deal was around $50k (working on some bigger ones than this though. lol)
Do you have any advice to other investors?
The main thing I would say is to never quit on your dreams or goals and to exercise persistence until you arrive at your desired destination in business and in life.

What you are currently working on?
